The Kremlin acknowledged problems with money for oil

Dmytro Peskov accused the USA and the European Union of allegedly "violating all norms of international trade".

The aggressor country Russia really faced a delay in receiving payments for the sold oil. Kremlin spokesman Dmytro Peskov said this at a briefing on Thursday, March 28.

In particular, he commented on the Reuters publication that banks in China, Turkey and the UAE are making payments for Russian oil with delays of several months because they are afraid of secondary sanctions from Western countries.

"Since the countries you mentioned are under unprecedented pressure from the financial and other authorities of the USA, as well as the EU, of course, this work is ongoing. But it is conducted in a discrete mode. We work very constructively with our partners and take into account the danger of this unprecedented pressure, which violates all the rules and norms of international trade and economic relations," said Peskov.
