Dmytro Peskov appreciated the French President's statement regarding the possible introduction of troops into Ukraine
France may increase the "degree of its involvement" in the war in Ukraine, predicts Dmytro Peskov.
France is already "involved in the war" in Ukraine, but may increase the degree of its involvement. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmytro Peskov at a briefing on Friday, March 15.
"Yes, of course, we read Mr. Macron's statements. That Russia is an enemy for France, yes, it is obvious. Precisely because France is already involved in the war in Ukraine, it indirectly participates in this war. But, judging by the president's statement, he is not against increasing the degree of his involvement," Peskov told reporters on Friday.
The day before, French President Emmanuel Macron commented on his statement about the possible introduction of troops into Ukraine. He did not rule out such a step, because Russia should not win the war.
