Little is known about the SUV named after the octagonal shape of the diamond. For example, it will receive the 6D Dynamics adaptive air suspension from the Range Rover Sport SV and a V8 Twin Turbo engine with a 48-volt superstructure. This will make the Octa the most powerful Defender ever. A new version of the iconic SUV will debut before the end of this year.

The Land Rover Defender Octa SUV will surpass all existing modifications of the model in terms of power and dynamics, and the distinguishing feature of this version will be its own emblem - a rhombus in a circle. It is known that the Octa will be equipped with the 6D Dynamics adaptive air suspension, the struts of which are connected by a hydraulic circuit, which acts as a stabilizer of lateral stability and actively fights rolls when braking and rolls when cornering.

The Defender Octa will also get off-road tires and Brembo brakes, which were shown in the first teaser photos.

As for the engine, it will be a 4,4-liter "twin-turbo" BMW, which produces 635 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque on the Range Rover Sport SV. On the top Sport configuration, the engine is combined with an eight-band automatic, four-wheel drive, a rear wheel control mechanism and an active differential, which complements the traction vector control system with brakes.
