Russia carried out a provocation in unrecognized Transnistria by attacking a military unit with a kamikaze drone.
This was reported in Telegram by the press service of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security Council, Ukrinform reports.
"Russia carried out a provocation in Transnistria by attacking a military unit with a kamikaze drone. The main logic of the Kremlin's actions is informational incitement of the situation, since the Russian Federation does not have a corridor to Transnistria to carry out provocations of a military nature," the institution said.
The press service noted that the Russians are trying to carry out provocations and manipulate the information space, spreading fakes, precisely for the purpose of information injection.
Earlier on March 17, unrecognized Transnistria (Moldova) announced an explosion and fire on the territory of a military unit in Tiraspol as a result of a kamikaze drone attack. It was also reported that the fire after the impact could have destroyed the helicopter.
