We reveal the taste of spices
Usually, spices are added to the salad immediately and only then it is dressed with oil. But you can reveal and enhance the taste of spices by doing the following: you need to heat the oil in a pan and pour the spices chosen for the salad into it. It is important not to fry, but simply stir them in hot oil. Next, the salad is dressed with aromatic hot dressing and mixed.
We add milk to salads with beets
No matter how strange it sounds, you can improve the taste of salads with beets, for example, vinaigrette, by adding a tablespoon of milk with sugar dissolved in it. You can also add sweetened milk to salads with grated boiled or raw beets and even to herring under a fur coat.
Lemon for flavor
If the salad does not need sourness, but you want to give it a light lemon aroma, then you can put lemon peel in the bowl with the ingredients. It will enrich all components of the dish with its smell. The crust must be removed before serving.
Add garlic flavor
The smell of garlic awakens the appetite and makes the dish more attractive. Only fresh garlic is far from always appropriate in a salad. Therefore, if you only need to give a garlic aroma, then you can put a crust of black bread, grated with fresh garlic, in a bowl with salad. Just like with lemon, garlic will lend its flavor to vegetables. You can also add garlic powder, it will give a light, unexpressed aroma of garlic.
