Galaxy S24 Ultra is the direct successor of last year's S23 Ultra model. Although at first glance they seem very similar, a closer look reveals many differences. We compared both devices in detail and found out in what exactly the new model is superior to its predecessor.
Design and display
First of all, the change in the novelty concerned the material of the case: instead of aluminum, stronger titanium is used. This has a positive effect on the protection of the device from shocks and drops. The edges and the front part of the smartphone faced no less significant design changes: they became flat, repeating the trend of recent years. It shows a 30% increase in performance compared to 8 Gen 2 in the S23 Ultra. Improvements also affected memory. The minimum amount of RAM is 12 GB versus 8 GB. The area of the cooling system in the Galaxy S24 Ultra has increased significantly — almost 2 times compared to the S23 Ultra. This provides more effective heat removal from the processor and other components.
AI functions
Samsung's new flagship has received unique artificial intelligence features that no other Android smartphone has:
- voice retransmission and on-the-fly translation during telephone conversations;
- tracking of text input and recommendations for correcting stylistics;
- analysis and structuring of notes, extract generation, text translation.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is clearly a step forward in many respects compared to last year's model. Even for Galaxy S23 Ultra owners, the upgrade makes sense. The novelty offers a balanced set of characteristics for comfortable work in the coming years.
