In reality, the personal computer entered our lives only 30 years ago. And he changed a lot. But the computer made a revolution in everyday life only thanks to the Internet.

The Internet opened a new reality. We study on the Internet, exchange data on the Internet, work through the Internet. Today, we increasingly make purchases using the Internet, order tickets to the theater... You don't need to go to the library to get information about something - it's at your fingertips.
We got free access to news and expert opinions in all spheres of life. The Internet has opened up access to various sources, various opinions - now, if desired, everything can be weighed and evaluated independently.
But public Internet in our country appeared quite recently - at the very beginning of the current century.
Mobile telephony
The first mobile phone call in Ukraine was made in 1993. And before that, people used landline phones, and not everyone had them. In emergency cases, I had to run to the nearest phone booth...
And there was no need to even dream of chatting with a friend at a distance at any time.
At first, mobile phones were huge and inconvenient. And for quite a long time, they were treated as luxury items. The man with the "mobile" looked cooler than the usual owner of a prestigious foreign car.
Towards the end of the 90s, the first smartphones appeared. But they, like keyboard mobile phones, have become truly affordable already in the present century.
Bank card
In the USA, the first cards for non-cash payments were used in the 1940s and 1950s. But those were completely different cards, they were made of cardboard and used differently. In the early 1970s, a card with a magnetic strip was invented. And only 30 years ago, a microcircuit was built into them.
In Ukraine, the first ATMs, and with them plastic bank cards, appeared in 1996. And at first there were very few of them. Today, it is difficult to imagine a person who does not have a bank card. But, perhaps, soon they will also become a thing of the past, because it is already possible to pay with a smartphone.
