Everyone has probably heard about electric cars. For example, in Kyiv, according to analysts of statistical companies, there are already several thousand of such cars, not counting the region, and their number is growing at an incredible pace. Of course, this is not comparable to the production of electric cars in foreign countries, and even more so, it is ridiculous to compare this figure with the total number of cars (more than fifty million).

In the opinion of any car owner, there are quite a few obvious advantages of an electric car. First, the short battery life (in the best case, it will last for two hundred kilometers), secondly, the basic lack of electric columns where you can charge the battery, although this problem is actively being solved by investors in the cities of the future, which will soon appear in Ukraine what are they talking about reviews and investments in electroukraine, but at the same time, the price of electric cars is still biting. One of the cheapest cars in this segment costs a little more than 25 thousand dollars (converted to hryvnias, it turns out to be more than 700 thousand), and the battery charge is enough for only 132 kilometers. Also, the development of the electric vehicle industry is not promoted, according to manufacturers, by government support focused on the raw economy.
Benefits of electric vehicles
But in addition to the disadvantages, the electric car has significant advantages that distinguish it from cars with an internal combustion engine. And one of these advantages is the cheapness of use; the car can be charged from an outlet, and if a two-tariff meter is connected in the house, this is a completely clean profit, unlike ordinary cars. Given the low cost of electricity at night, you can charge an electric car all night and use it in the morning. At the same time, the total price for "refueling" with electricity is lower than the cost of a liter of gasoline - 20-30 rubles. Another obvious plus is the fact that during traffic jams, the engine is turned off, nothing is wasted, and simply speaking, traffic jams do not become devastating! And in the conditions of the active life of a metropolis, this is a big plus.
Other advantages include the absence of technical inspection, silent operation of the engine and zero emission of harmful gases.
Of course, now electric cars are seen as something wild and unusual, since during the period of global automobileization, humanity has become accustomed to long-established domestic cars with internal combustion engines. Evolution does not stand still, one thing is replaced by another, and electricity in this case is the engine of progress.
