New dump truck presented by the Ukrainian company Polycar

The new project of the Polycar brand – a dump truck on the chassis of a GAZ truck, successfully combines a high level of cargo capacity (up to 4 tons) with a good body capacity (about seven and a half cubic meters) and compact overall dimensions with maneuverability on the road.

The dump truck body to buy useful for all motor transport enterprises engaged in the delivery of bulk cargoes in large volumes. Sand, chernozem, clay, slag, coal, crushed stone and any other type of soil or building materials transported in bulk.

However, about everything in order. The basis for this development was the chassis of the GAZ car brand 33098. The car is equipped with a 4-stroke diesel power unit with a capacity of 150 hp. and a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The developer installed a dump body with overall dimensions of 3690x2360 (external dimensions in mm) on this car. The body is based on a powerful welded subframe made of bent profiled elements (thickness of the profile walls is not less than 5 mm). The structure has a multiple margin of safety, perfectly perceives dynamic loads, does not deform and does not violate the geometry even when driving on the highway at high speed with the maximum full load of the body.



The support-hinged base can be characterized as a simple and durable design solution. Made in the form of ball supports located in four places under the bottom of the body. Thanks to which the operational properties of the dump truck are significantly improved - unloading is possible in three directions. The direction of unloading is easily changed in each of the specific operational cases by means of reconfiguration of the ball supports manually by installing the retainers.



The overturning mechanism of the body structure is activated by means of a single-stroke hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder is installed in the middle of the body, has a three-bar structure, is controlled by a pump of the type NSh 32, connected to the power take-off box. The tipping process is controlled from the driver's cabin with a remote control.

The rear and side sides of the body, through which the transported material can be unloaded, also have a hinged and hinged design with the possibility of lower and upper tipping. That in some cases significantly simplifies unloading procedures, allowing them to be perfectly adjusted to the type of cargo being transported and the conditions of unloading.

The sides have a height of 900 mm, made of steel sheet, with reinforcing frame elements (bent profile). In the upper part of the sides, there are hook-type fasteners for installing the awning (the awning itself is included in the delivery set of the dump truck).

The sides of the body have a durable anti-corrosion coating. There is a similar coating on the floor covering sheets inside. The floor finish is 2 mm thick corrugated steel sheet.

The developers have not forgotten the important issues of ensuring the necessary level of safety when operating this vehicle. Therefore, the dump truck is also equipped with the following devices:

Limiting valve for raising the body when overturning;

The stop, set at the highest point of the lift;

Side lights along the contour of the body. Pasting with a warning reflective film is also provided.

There are also additional protective devices that protect interaxial spaces on the sides (bike bumpers). A similar device is provided in the rear part of the car below the bottom of the body.

This is not the first project of the company related to the production of dump trucks, previously the company presented various dump trucks based on Isuzu, Iveco, Ford, MAZ, etc. cars.
