The Russian dating app Mamba studied the effect of smoking on the ability to have an ideal love relationship. The poll was timed to the International No Smoking Day, celebrated on May 31. The service itself made a gift to its Russian customers trying to quit smoking: weekly VIP status
3500 people, residents of Russian millionaire cities, took part in the survey. As a result, it turned out that most of them (regardless of gender) find smoking unattractive.
Ladies agree to admire smokers only on the screen - 90% confessed their sympathy for images with cigarettes created by K. Eastwood, S. Connery, M. Mastroianna and other idols. However, in life, 60% of women consider the smell of tobacco unattractive, and 75% would not like to kiss a man who smokes.
Men turned out to be even more categorical - they don't even like on-screen smokers. Only 8,5% found female smoking attractive. In general, a strong half of humanity reacts very unflatteringly to women who smoke: "I can't stand cigarette smoke, and a girl with a cigarette looks disgusting. I will not meet such a girl. Even the very fact that she treats her body in this way suggests that she will treat a man in the same way."
However, most often the survey participants made a reservation: the smoking factor will not work if the person really liked it. 70% of men and 80% of women on the dating service think so Mamba.
