Why does the fertilizer not work?

327

Soil oxidation is caused by natural losses of calcium, which is absorbed by the crop and leached into the soil profile. Carbon dioxide, produced as a result of the respiration of soil organisms, concentrates in the soil at low temperatures and, combining with water, forms carbon dioxide, which also increases acidity. Calcium deficiency and increased soil acidity cause disruption of soil chemistry and biological life.

Hungry plants

The low response of the soil is manifested by the reduced absorption of phosphorus due to its easy transition into poorly soluble compounds with aluminum and iron, poor assimilation of nitrogen in the form of ammonium and impaired assimilation of magnesium, despite the large resources of this component in the soil.

The use of potassium from fertilizers applied at pH 4,5 drops to 40 percent. As for trace elements, increased acidity has a differentiated effect. Manganese is taken in a large excess at the expense of copper and zinc. Absorption of manganese and easily soluble iron leads to poisoning and death of plants, and in the best case - to a significant reduction in the volume and quality of the crop.

EARTH IS DYING

Violation of soil chemistry, which is manifested by a change in the quantitative ratios between the available forms of minerals, leads to a violation of the biological life of the soil. Many useful microorganisms do not find conditions for life and die. This applies to nitrifying bacteria, both those that live independently in the soil and symbiotic species that live on the roots of legumes.

Deceptive economy

Farms usually refuse to use enough fertilizers. In addition, not everyone follows the change in soil acidity. The systematic decrease in the interest of farms in mineral fertilizers is due to the insufficient amount of knowledge of specialists about the impact of the latter on the physical and chemical properties of the soil, its biological life, besides, not everyone can notice the first symptoms of deficiency.

Which fertilizer to CHOOSE?

Choosing the right fertilizer is not easy. There is a very large number of fertilizers on the market, which differ significantly from each other. when choosing a fertilizer, it should be taken into account that all agricultural plants need three main components: phosphorus, potassium and nitrogen. Therefore, the most optimal fertilizers are complex NPK fertilizers from proven and certified manufacturers. In Ukraine, such fertilizers are offered by the company "Tetra-Agro" (https://tetra-agro.com.ua), which manufactures its products in accordance with quality requirements and standards. Since the beginning of 2020, a novelty from "Tetra-Agro" appeared on the market of mineral fertilizers — Nitroamofoska-M (8:20:25), the composition of which is selected for all types of soil.
