Sport in Kamensk is reaching a new level

The president of the SC "Prometheus" club, Vladimir Dubininsky, shared his thoughts on the success of athletes from Kamensk. He believes that the city is capable of making a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian sports. Basketball players from SC "Prometei" have already attracted the attention of sports fans and professional athletes. It is safe to say that Ukraine has noted the successes of newcomers. Two professional Super League teams, basketball and volleyball, delight fans with victories and good play.
club president Vladimir Dubinsky, does not consider SC "Prometheus" to be a commercial project. According to him, this is far from a commercial project, but a business that brings great pleasure to him personally and to his entire family. Vladimir mentioned Mikhail Brodsky, who is the president of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. For the president of the club, the development of Ukrainian sports is just as important as for the manager of Prometheus.
The development of sports in Kamensk started small. There were few teams in a small town, and their professionalism was not even worth talking about. Vladimir was surprised and amazed by the level of sports in Kamensk. Realizing that young talents cannot find themselves here, and professionals are in a hurry to go abroad, Vladimir decided to create his own team, which, thanks to help and support, could achieve even small successes. In Kamensk, even with the sections, things were not going well. Vladimir noted that sports in the city depend only on the indifference and enthusiasm of the coaches. Local businessmen provide great support to the athletes.
There is a way out of the situation, but you have to look for it
Mikhail created his own school, where young guys can learn to play basketball. It was named SC "Prometheus". Vladimir, with the participation of interested persons, provided the school with uniforms and equipment, engaged in organizational work. Young athletes were able to take part in tournaments and competitions.
The school takes children from the age of 6. Both boys and girls attend the section. The president of the basketball club noted that youth will be able to achieve success only if they communicate with senior professional athletes. Taking the experience of successful players, the guys will be able to learn something new.
In the speech, Vladimir Dubininsky mentioned Andrei Belousov and Mikhail Brodsky. Thanks to them, the work on the construction of the modern SC "Eurobasket" continued. Such a project is an absolute novelty for the city, because no one else builds sports complexes of this scale here.
The construction of SC is important not only for Kamensky, but also for the country as a whole.
Vladimir Dubininsky believes that the development of Ukrainian sports is not only possible, but also necessary. Of course, financial support plays a big role. When "Eurobasket" is completed, it will be much easier. The president of the club plans to create both women's and men's volleyball and basketball teams. The plan according to which sports will be developed in Kamensk has already been written for two decades ahead.
