It takes place in several stages, which we will consider in detail in our article.

Material selection

The appearance of the finished product directly depends on the materials used. The cheapest packages are made of kraft paper. It has a characteristic brown color, which with a competent design looks stylish and original. And it is also environmentally friendly, so it is especially suitable for those companies that want to emphasize that they care about the environment.
Coated paper is best for applying a logo. The image is bright and saturated, with excellent color rendering. The material is additionally laminated, so the finished package is not only beautiful, but also very durable.
Designer paper is the most expensive. It is suitable for the production of any representative and advertising products, including packages. It is presented in a wide range of colors and a variety of textures.

Logo printing methods

Two main printing methods are used to apply the logo to the surface of the package:

  • offset - suitable for the production of a large batch of packages, i.e. 500 pieces. Provides a clear and high-quality image;

  • screen printing - this method is best suited for applying a logo on a colored surface. It is also suitable if it is necessary to apply print on a mug or fabric materials. The pattern is bright and saturated. Screen printing is used if the production run is not large.

It is worth noting that the printing method directly affects the cost of the finished product. Screen printing will be more expensive, since the entire printing process is carried out manually.

Additional processing

If necessary, the package can be subjected to post-printing processing to give it aesthetic and protective properties. For example, lamination prevents it from creasing, protects against the effects of moisture and generally preserves an aesthetic appearance for a long time. Lamination can be matte or glossy.
Also popular methods of additional processing are selective ultraviolet varnishing, stamping with foil, cutting. A combination of all finishing elements is also allowed. The main thing is that the design turned out to be stylish and harmonious. You can use the services of a specialist to develop a layout.
