Another name for a lifting electromagnet is an electromagnet washer. It allows you to lift and move sheet metal and other materials with metal in the composition:

Design features of load-lifting electromagnets

Today, electromagnetic washers, which are closest to the "Soviet" models in terms of size and magnetization strength, have found wider use:

  • magnetic washers M-22B, M-42B and M-62B;
  • rectangular electromagnets PM-15 and PM-25A.

The design of electromagnets is high-strength, which allows you to use washers for work in difficult conditions. Electromagnets withstand mechanical impact when falling on a load and shocks when it is attracted. The design of electromagnetic washers is thought out to the smallest detail:

  • The coil, placed inside the case, is closed from below by a non-magnetic element in the form of a plate.
  • There are voids between the body and the coil, but they are filled with a polymer that makes the attachment of parts reliable.
  • Each electromagnet is equipped with three chains, which have one common ring, which is put on the hook of the crane.

To ensure even greater safety, the electromagnet is equipped with a cable drum. It prevents cable sagging and breakage. Electromagnets can be used not only separately, but also together. To do this, they are attached to a special magnetic traverse.
