A wedding is a special ritual performed to legalize the marriage of two people who love each other. This is a holiday, after which people leave hundreds of photos in order to "live" this wonderful day again in the future. Only, the fact is that each country has its own customs and traditions related to this day. And in Japan, including its own "details", without which the marriage ceremony cannot take place.
Absence of the registry office. In order to get married, residents of Ukraine must first submit an application to the registry office, even if you want to marry a foreigner in Ukraine. There is no such establishment in the country of the rising sun! And in order to get married, you need to contact the city management authorities. By the way, they solve absolutely all the residents' problems. Starting with birth certificates and ending with household management. The submission of the application itself is not very different from the presentation of other "papers" by the same authorities. In Japan, there is no specific one
"Dress code" at a wedding. Just think, when Russians are looking for a gorgeous old dress for the bride, and a dark formal suit for the groom, Japanese people marry in everyday clothes without thinking...
There are two of them... At the request of the lovers themselves, one of the two possible weddings can be held: Buddhist or European style. In the first, the missing wear traditional kimonos and hold a ceremony in the temple according to all the rules of Buddhism.
European wedding. These are very popular there recently. The bride, as it is customary, wears a snow-white wedding dress, and the groom wears a strict suit. The wedding itself takes place in churches.
Wedding rings. If in Russia a wedding is associated with gold, then for Japan the favorite is platinum. For some reason, platinum rings attract the majority of Japanese people more than others. Many residents of the country of the rising sun calmly "replace" the ring, which in Russia is presented by the groom with a proposal of hand and heart, with other, albeit not so expensive, but no less memorable items. The main thing is that any of them will come from the heart. After all, it is difficult to come up with a more "heartfelt" occasion than a wedding... Isn't it true?
Decoration of the car. In the cities of Russia, you can often meet a couple dressed for a wedding celebration. As a sign of congratulations, passers-by beep. And if the car in which the bride and groom are traveling is decorated with layers and ribbons, then such signals will be given much more often. In Japan, they won't do that... I mean, they won't decorate the car. For some reason, this "custom" did not catch on with the Japanese...
