Organization of heating when building a house

Any owner dreams of a cozy, beautiful, spacious and warm private house, the construction of which would not "eat" all his finances, time and nerves. The entire long and difficult process of building a cottage can be divided into several stages, and the final one of them is not the installation of the roof, finishing works or the installation of double-glazed windows, but the adjustment and debugging of the heating system.

This is a problem that requires detailed consideration. Dozens and hundreds of questions arise that require your direct participation:

whether to use underfloor heating and if so, where exactly;

which rooms need to be heated in the first place;

The organization of a competent heating system, in view of everything described above, can become the most important issue when building a cottage. In fact, it is possible to properly heat your own home with the help of an autonomous system without involving specialists in this matter - you only need minimal knowledge in the field of heating.

The heating of each individual room of your home directly depends on the heat loss in it. Heat losses, in turn, depend on many factors:

structures of load-bearing walls;

temperature differences inside and outside the house;

room volume;

the size and number of windows;

locations on the 1st or 2nd floor;

filling the window opening;

orientation towards the side of the world.

It is not necessary to determine the values ​​of heat losses to the nearest tens and units, because the heating devices will be selected with a small reserve of power in any case. In bathrooms, hallways, guest rooms, and other rooms, part of the load can be taken over by the warm floor, its installation deserves a separate, more detailed consideration. The classic method of heating rooms are radiators and convectors, of which the market today offers a huge variety: sectional, panel, tubular, plate, cast iron, steel, aluminum, bimetallic, etc.

The next stage is the selection of a heating boiler. There are also an incredible number of them on the market today: single-circuit and double-circuit, wall and floor, with an open and closed combustion chamber, steel and cast iron, solid fuel, gas, electric, water, etc. Think over the layout and connection of all appliances in the house to the boiler, do not forget to allocate some space for it or even a separate room (heater), remember the requirements for installing a household boiler, especially when it comes to gas equipment.
