'I’ve spent £100,000 on plastic surgery to look like Britney Spears – I'll never stop'
EXCLUSIVE: A Britney Spears super-fan who has spent more than £100,000 on plastic surgeries to look like her is now planning to change the colour of his eyes – despite the risk of going blind
A man who splashed out more than $120,000 (approximately £106,000) on over 100 cosmetic surgeries to look like his idol Britney Spears has vowed never to stop.
Bryan Ray’s journey began when his mum paid $25,000 (£22,200) to get his veneers done when he was 17 to replicate the singer’s smile.
She then gifted him his first nose job for his 21st birthday – but since then, Bryan has saved his own money to change and maintain his appearance.

The Las Angeles based super-fan, who runs a medical marijuana edible company, has been obsessed with Britney since she released Oops!....I Did It Again.
And speaking exclusively with the Daily Star, he said: “I’ve been doing this since I was 17 and I am not finished. I am an ongoing work of art.
“When I look in the mirror at myself I am very happy. Am I perfect? No, absolutely not.
“I’m human just like everyone else and I aspire for a certain level of beauty that I draw my inspiration from Britney Spears and that will never change because my admiration for her has only grown over the last two decades.
“I think she is more beautiful now than I did 20 years ago because my emotional growth is stronger and she will always be the pinnacle of beauty in my eyes and I will always strive for a beauty like hers.”
And those strides have led Bryan to get two rhinoplasties, cheek facial implants, soft tissue and lip augmentation and an eyelid lift to resemble “Britney’s big beautiful eyes” to name just a few.
Every six months Bryan gets Botox and fillers for maintenance, as well as having hair removal surgery on his face and entire body every eight to 10 weeks.
He faces criticism for doing so and believes plastic surgery lookalikes are still stigmatised in society.
He added: “I also want to be clear that I’m not disillusioned into thinking I could bring a photo of Britney Spears to the best plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills and I would then look like Britney Spears.
“That was never something that was in my head thinking I would look 100% like her. I understand my face, my symmetry, my features and what I’ve done is work in collaboration with plastic surgeons to see what characteristics could be altered in a way that is inspired by Britney to resemble that look of hers.
“I do get that people don’t understand it. People might call me weird or crazy but I think being open about it in the way I have will help eliminate the stigma.”
However, Bryan believes people being transparent about their plastic surgery has become more normalised in recent years.
He hopes he's helped to decrease such discrimination – but admitted negative responses are to be expected.
“It comes with the territory I think,” he said. “It’s not for everyone and I’m not encouraging everyone to go out and get plastic surgery but I am encouraging everyone to be body positive in whatever way that looks like for you.”
As well as being a huge Britney admirer, Bryan has met the pop star in person several times.
But the most special occasion was the first time it happened when he was on holiday with his family in Maui.
Recalling it, he said: “As fate would have it we went to an outdoor little shopping event and they had little tents.
“I went into a little booth and it was very small and I was just looking at the beautiful artwork and jewellery and I saw from the corner of my eye someone come into the tent and I heard this soft spoken voice of a woman with a southern accent.
“I remember thinking ‘oh my goodness that sounds like Britney’. She had her back to me but her lower back was exposed and I saw the fairy tattoo.
“My eyes must have opened so largely because there was a huge security guard standing at the tent next to her not letting anyone else inside.
“I remember looking at him and then looking back at her. She turned around and we were very close, it was tiny, and I couldn’t believe it.
“In all places, in Maui, in this tiny outdoor festival, I was meeting my idol. She wasn’t all glammed up like in the music videos and she had very minimal makeup if any but she was just so beautiful.
“Immediately my eyes went to her smile when she said hello and it was even more gorgeous in person.
"I really got to have a special conversation with her and I got to thank her for being such an inspiration to me and helping me find my identity and I also got to tell her that I loved her smile so much that I had my teeth done to resemble hers.
“She told me my smile was absolutely beautiful and that was a tremendous compliment of a lifetime.
“She left me feeling like she was a really kind and down to earth person. She happened to be the most famous woman on the planet but she didn’t act like it.
"She took the time to speak to me and had kind words that I will always hold dear to my heart...
“I will forever be a huge Britney Spears fan. She has been a huge part of my life and has been for over half of it.
“I am so happy for her that she is now free and she is married and her song with Elton John was incredible.
“I am excited for the future and I will always be rooting for her.”
