Chinese company Farasis Energy has announced its innovative 6C technology, which enables ultra-fast charging of electric vehicles. Thanks to it, electric vehicle batteries can be recharged from 10% to 80% in just 8 minutes and 55 seconds. CNEVPost writes about this.
The innovative technology significantly reduces charging time, solving one of the key difficulties for electric vehicle owners, especially during long journeys.
6C technology means that the battery can be charged in a time equal to 1/6 of its nominal capacity.
Farasis Energy’s new approach optimizes battery design for lithium iron phosphate (LFP) and lithium ternary batteries. In addition, the new Super Packaging (SPS) technology improves battery heat dissipation, allowing the battery to maintain a temperature below 50°C during fast charging. This reduces the risk of overheating and improves charging efficiency.
It is worth noting that Farasis Energy is one of the leading battery manufacturers in China. The company currently holds 0,48% of the market, but plans to significantly expand its share through the introduction of the latest technology.
