How to cook mushrooms correctly
First, the mushrooms should be washed and cleaned. You can use cold running water for this. It is advisable to wash each mushroom separately, but do not forget about a soft sponge, which will help remove heavy dirt.
At the same time, it is not necessary to soak the mushrooms, otherwise this will deprive them of their rich flavor.
Next, you need to place the mushrooms in a saucepan and pour cold water over them. Five liters of water will be enough for one kilogram of product. Then you can put them on the fire.
Citric acid will help maintain a beautiful white color. For each liter of water, add 4 g of powder.
A bay leaf and 3-4 black peppercorns are also useful when cooking.
Cook the mushrooms for no longer than 10 minutes. They should become soft but not lose their shape.
