What is the trick
Before pouring the sliced potatoes onto a hot pan, the vegetable should be placed in a container filled with hot water. However, cold water, although it will remove excess starch, will not speed up the cooking of the potatoes.
The duration of the hot water treatment of the raw vegetable should be 3-5 minutes. After that, you can start preparing the side dish. The potatoes will fry quickly and a golden crust will appear.
