When the thermometer outside shows more than thirty degrees, we look for something cold. Usually, it's ice cream, compote or green tea from the refrigerator. But you can make this delicacy - milk jelly. It can be liquid or thick, whichever you prefer.
How to make milk jelly
To prepare it, we need the following products: milk, sugar, starch (corn or potato), and vanilla sugar.
First, boil 1 liter of milk on the stove. Meanwhile, stir the starch into a glass of cold milk.
For liquid – 1 tsp. starch for each glass of milk. So, for 1 liter of milk – 5 tsp.
For thick – 1 tbsp. starch per 200 ml of milk, that is, 5 tbsp. spoons.
When the milk boils, add sugar – 3-4 tbsp. spoons. Pour milk with starch into the boiling sweet mixture and, stirring quickly, bring to a boil. At the end, add 1-2 sachets of vanilla sugar.
Pour into jars or plates, cool, and refrigerate for a few hours. Before enjoying, you can top with cherry or any sour jam, or you can just eat it as is.
It's tasty, healthy, budget-friendly, and most importantly, it keeps you cool in the summer!
