Want a cake, but don't have an oven? Or maybe you don't have enough time, but you really want to please your loved ones? Then a no-bake cake would be a great option. It won't take up a lot of your precious time, is very easy to prepare, and won't require you to stand at the stove for a long time.
Details
Recipe option #1.
Ingredients:
- 600-800 ml. sour cream
- 400 g unsalted cracker cookies
- 3 bananas
- nuts to taste
- marshmallow for layer (optional)
- 50-100 g of sugar
- chocolate for decoration (optional)
1) Mix sour cream, sugar and two grated bananas in a deep bowl.
2) Beat the mixture, preferably with a mixer.
3) Add the crackers to the bowl and set aside for an hour. Stir. The mixture should become slightly sticky during this time. Add any nuts you like and set aside for another hour. After two hours, your "dough" should be thick and sticky.
4) Line the pan with cling film and place half of the dough in it. Cut the marshmallows into thin slices – a substitute for cream. Then spread them over the entire surface of the dough so that there are no gaps. The marshmallows will soak up the sour cream and become soft like cream. But you can do without it, replacing it with fruit, such as banana or kiwi, if desired.
5) Roll out the second part of the dough and place the mold in the refrigerator for several hours, or preferably overnight.
6) The cake can be decorated with sour cream, pudding or yogurt, and decorated with fruit on top. You can sprinkle grated chocolate on top. The standard option is whipped cream.
Option №2
Ingredients:
- 1 kilogram of sour cream
- 400 gr. cookie cracker
- 5-6 bananas
- 25 grams of dry gelatin
- 500 g of sugar
- Fruit for decoration
Put the gelatin and sugar in a bowl and pour 2/3 cup of boiling water. Stir until the gelatin dissolves. Wait until it cools down and pour in the sour cream, not forgetting to mix well until smooth.
The cake should be laid out in layers. The first layer is crackers, the second is peeled and sliced bananas. Spread each layer with sour cream. Lay out layer by layer. Spread sour cream on top and sides and decorate with fruit or chocolate.
Alternatively, you can use sour cream with condensed milk instead of this sour cream. It will be a little sweeter, so choose what you like more.
