Try making a homemade toilet odor remover
You probably have a bar of soap with your favorite scent. You can use it as a long-lasting freshener by placing it in the toilet tank. However, the device will quickly run out if you let the bar float freely. Therefore, it needs to be secured inside the tank.
To do this, take an old, but clean and intact sock. Place soap in it and tie a knot or make a few stitches with a needle and thread.
Open the tank and drain the water, hold the float so that no new water can be drawn in. Tape the sock to the inside wall of the tank so that the adhesive tape is above the water level.
Now you can release the float and close the tank. The device will work every time you drain the water, providing freshness and preventing plaque.
