Undoubtedly, every housewife, like no other, knows for sure that even the most powerful stain removers will not be able to 100% cope with the earthy pigment, which settles quite firmly on socks in the summer.
That is why in this article, experienced housewives told you how to quickly wash white socks at home without much effort using ordinary table salt, laundry soap, and vegetable oil.
First of all, you need to soak the socks in warm water with a large amount of salt for about two to three hours. According to experts, salt will help pull all the dirt out of the fabric to the surface. After that, you need to wring the socks out very well, pour clean hot water again and lather them thoroughly with laundry soap. It is recommended to leave the socks in the basin for about 30 minutes.

Then you should drain the dirty water, add two tablespoons of vegetable oil, two tablespoons of soda ash, one tablespoon of powder to the basin, and fill the socks with hot water.
According to experienced housewives, after about 60 minutes, all dirt will be removed from the fabric. At the end, all you have to do is rinse the socks in the washing machine.
Note:
It is very important to remember that stains of any origin are easiest to remove while they are still fresh. That is why it is advisable to always wash socks immediately after taking them off. It is not recommended to store them, especially if they have been wet.
According to experts, if you throw wet, dirty socks in the basket, they will become stained and smell bad in a day or two. If you can't wash them right away, you should at least dry them before putting them in the laundry basket.
