The new Jaguar Type 00 electric concept car has been spotted on a street in Paris. The Jaguar Type 00 concept is a precursor to a four-door production electric car that is set to be unveiled this summer, ahead of first deliveries in late 2026.
The name, pronounced “type-zero-zero,” combines Jaguar’s historic use of the word “type” with zeros, symbolizing the brand’s reboot and zero emissions.
The concept itself won't go into production, but Jaguar says it has clear design cues that will lead to a production four-seat electric car. However, Jaguar has not yet provided any technical details about the concept, including where the car's battery is located.
It is interesting that at first firstborn Jaguar The new wave was to be a four-door GT. Then they wanted to add a luxury crossover and a large sedan to the range. Jaguar electric cars on the JEA platform were expected to cost at least $130 and be on the market by 2030.
