Ukrainian defense company UkrArmoTech has presented its latest development, the Gyurza-O2 armored car. This was reported on the company's Facebook page, Avtotema reports.
One of the main advantages of the Gyurza-O2 is a specialized chassis with independent suspension on double wishbones, designed specifically for the armored combat vehicle at the request of UkrArmoTech.
This armored vehicle is designed to transport personnel (10+1) and their fire support, perform reconnaissance and patrol missions. The vehicle can be equipped with a machine gun turret or a remotely controlled combat module.
"Improved protection of the capsule, components and assemblies, and most importantly, the crew at levels 2 and 3 according to the NATO STANAG 4569 standard," the company said in a statement.
The armored vehicle is equipped with an advanced electronic warfare system, a 360° vision system, a light camouflage system, and a modern filter ventilation system that protects personnel from the negative effects of chemical agents. It is armed with an automatic combat module with an M2 Browning 12.7 machine gun.
It is also noted that this year the Ukrainian Defense Forces will be able to receive hundreds of Gyurza-O2 armored vehicles, optimal for performing combat missions.
