YouTube has been completely blocked in Russia
The ruling Russian regime completely blocked the video hosting service, accusing it of "fraud."
The popular video hosting service YouTube is completely unavailable in Russia, the Center for Monitoring and Management of Public Communications Networks (CMM MZZK) of Roskomnadzor reported on Saturday, March 1.
"The Central Monitoring Center has checked the availability of the YouTube service. The service is not available in Russia," the regulator said in a statement.
Thus, Roskomnadzor commented on reports from some Russian media outlets that YouTube had allegedly started working for users of a number of Russian providers.
