Discussions on a mineral extraction agreement between Ukraine and the United States are still ongoing. Discussions on this issue are being held between officials from both countries, White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said at a briefing.

“These talks are happening as we speak. I just saw the national security adviser. He’s working very hard on this,” Leavitt said.

The White House press secretary shared that US President's National Security Advisor Michael Waltz will visit President Donald Trump's office today to provide him with the latest information on negotiations with Ukraine.

According to Leavitt, Trump wants Ukraine and Russia to conclude a peace agreement as soon as possible. She emphasized that the American leader welcomed the message from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which he published on social media.
