Donald Tusk is ready to work in "extraordinary mode"
There is "no reason" to consider the statements of the American side "just words," the head of the Polish government noted.
Information from the Polish border and the US aid hub in Jasionka confirms reports of the suspension of US military aid to Ukraine. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said this at a government meeting, RMF24 reported on Tuesday, March 4.
According to him, there is "no reason" to consider the statements of the American side "just words."
"Reports coming from the border, from our center in Jasionka, confirm the statements of the American side. This, of course, puts Europe, Ukraine, Poland in a more difficult situation, but we must cope with this situation," the prime minister said.
According to Tusk, the Polish government will have to make decisions that will require the full solidarity of the state.
"The days and weeks are coming when it is absolutely necessary to stop fruitless discussions, disputes about prestige, coalition disagreements," he addressed the ministers, noting that the government will have to make decisions "in an extraordinary mode."
Meanwhile, Moscow positively assessed Trump's possible decision regarding weapons for Ukraine, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. He recalled that now the Americans should lift sanctions against Russia.
