I recently made a homemade, delicious, rich soup with chicken and cheese balls. And it wasn't enough for us, so make a double portion right away! The perfect soup for both children and adults.
Ingredients:
- onion - 1 pcs.
- carrots - 1 pcs.
- potatoes - 5 pcs.
- water - 2 l
- chicken breast - 300 g
- salt, spices, bay leaf to taste
Cheese balls:
- Gouda cheese – 150 g
- egg - 1 pc.
- salt to taste
- flour - 60 g
Preparation:
I heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the finely chopped onion and carrot until golden brown.
I peel and cut the potatoes into pieces, put them in a saucepan, fill with water, and set them to boil. I add pieces of meat to the carrots and onions in a frying pan, and fry them until cooked.
Cheese balls:
I grate the cheese, add the egg, and salt.
I add flour, knead the dough and form small balls from it.
I add the roast to the potatoes in the pan and mix.
I add the cheese balls to the soup, cover with a lid and wait until it boils. Then I add salt, spices, bay leaf to taste. I stir and in a minute the soup is ready!
I serve it to the table, garnished with greens, delicious!
