Not all gardeners know how many years in a row you can grow garlic in a garden, and this is important. We tell you how many years to plant garlic in a new place and after which crops.
How to plant garlic
This culture does not like a shady area. The best option is an open area away from trees and buildings.
Garlic can be grown in one place for no more than two years, as there is a high probability of soil infection with stem nematodes.
It is best to plant garlic after crops that ripen quickly: early potatoes, cabbage, cucumbers. It is not recommended to plant garlic after onions.
It is also important to know that garlic needs abundant watering, especially in the first two weeks. Watering should be stopped three weeks before harvesting.
