As Carscoops notes, the BMW 7 Series G70 was one of the brand's first models to feature an unusually large grille. But this year, BMW is launching the first of its Neue Klasse cars, the iX3 SUV, notes Auto.24.
As a result, the company is looking to refresh the rest of its lineup so that all offerings have a similar recognizable style. It is known that the Neue Klasse cars will ditch the giant grille of the early 2020s and have a hint of the classic BMW face made famous by models like the E30 3-series of the 1980s.
However, things are not so clear-cut for the 7-Series. The car was introduced in 2022 and, as it turned out, will soon be updated. The restyled version is expected to debut next year as a 2027 model. However, spy shots suggest that the changes will not be too radical.
The grille has been given a different shape with a more horizontal orientation. The sedan has thick camouflage, but it seems that the designers have also removed the thin daytime running lights of the current model. It is also expected that the car will later receive new bumpers and optics graphics. In addition, we should expect a significant improvement in the level three assistance system. More details about the new product will be known later.
