The "12 Spoons" cake can be served immediately with tea, sprinkled with powdered sugar, or spread with cream. Then you will get a real festive cake. In any case, you will not have to get out the scales.
You will need:
- 3 eggs;
- 12 tbsp. sugar;
- 12 tablespoons of odorless oil;
- 12 tbsp. milk;
- 12 st. bed. flour;
- 1,5 tbsp. baking powder;
- 0,5 lemon;
- 1 pinch of salt;
- 50 g of powdered sugar.

Beat the eggs in a mixer bowl, add sugar, salt and beat until smooth. Pour in the oil, milk, previously slightly warmed in the microwave, lemon zest and juice.
Mix the mass with a mixer at the lowest speed. A few seconds will be enough. Sift the flour with baking powder. Pour into the dough and work a little more with the mixer. That's it, our dough is ready!

Place a 20 cm diameter sliding ring on a baking sheet. Line the bottom with foil. Pour the batter into the pan. Turn on the oven as soon as you start beating the eggs, setting it to 170 degrees. Now place our sponge cake on the bottom shelf of the preheated oven.

It should bake for about 30 minutes. Do not open the oven door at first so that the cake does not sink. Before turning off the oven, check the readiness of the dough in the middle with a wooden skewer - it should come out dry.

Remove the cake from the oven and turn it over onto a wire rack, along with the pan. Leave it to cool. Only then can you turn it over, remove it from the pan, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
If desired, the “12 Spoons” can be covered with chocolate glaze. If you intend to make a cake from the sponge cake, then cut it in half lengthwise, spread cream in the middle, and then on top. Decorate as you wish.
