Mercedes-Benz is testing the new 2026 CLA-Class Shooting Brake, which will be available in hybrid and fully electric versions. The car is built on the new MMA platform, specially developed for compact models. The electric versions will be equipped with an 800-volt fast charging system, with the ability to add 160 km in 15 minutes.
What else is known
The new CLA Shooting Brake has a modern design, partly presented in the 2023 concept. The car will be equipped with an integrated digital dashboard screen and a climate system with round fans. The version with a hybrid powertrain will combine a 1,5-liter turbo engine and a 27-horsepower electric motor, providing a total output of 187 hp.
This model, like the CLA sedan, will go on sale in 2026, but it likely won't be available in the U.S. The automaker is also preparing updates for other models in its compact lineup, including the new GLA and GLB-Class.
