The third generation Peugeot 3008 was officially introduced by the French automaker in Europe back in September 2023 and has only now entered the Ukrainian market.
The all-new C-segment crossover is the first production model ever based on the Stellantis Group's STLA Medium platform and will be offered in two trim levels: Allure and GT.
Exterior
The crossover measures 4542 mm in length, 1895 mm in width and 1641 mm in height. It features the well-known three-claw light signature at both the front and rear. You can also notice the enlarged logo on the closed radiator grille and smaller headlights located between the hood and the frameless radiator grille.
The Allure comes standard with LED lights, while the top-of-the-line GT version offers adaptive high beams and LED daytime running lights with integrated turn signals.
Six paint options are available at debut, with the highlight of the range being Obsession Blue, which changes from blue to green depending on the lighting and viewing angle. Other colors are Ingaro Blue, Okenite White, Pearl Black, Artense Gray and Titanium Gray.
Interior
Inside, the main theme of the new Peugeot 3008 is the massive 21-inch curved widescreen i-Cockpit display, which is located on the dashboard and acts as a digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen.
However, not all versions receive the same screen area, as the Allure trim level offers a slightly different configuration, consisting of two 10-inch screens combined into one display.
Below the center screen, on what is called a center console on conventional cars, are the so-called i-Toggles, which are fully customizable virtual and touch buttons.
Heated seats are standard on all trim levels, and the front seats have received the AGR (Aktion fur Gesunder Rucken) designation from the German Association of Doctors and Therapists, which conducts research and prevents back pain. Optionally, the front seats can also be equipped with ventilation, a massage function and adaptive side cushions that inflate or deflate according to the size of the passenger.
The Peugeot 3008 has a trunk volume of 588 liters in the version for the Ukrainian market, and if the rear seats are folded, the volume can be increased to 1663 liters.
Complete sets in Ukraine
As already noted, two trim levels are offered for the Ukrainian market: Allure and GT.
Both are available with two transmissions: a 1.6-liter PureTech petrol engine with 180 hp and a 6-speed automatic transmission, and a hybrid unit based on a 1.2-liter engine with 136 hp and a 6-speed DCS dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The basic Allure trim level will cost from UAH 1 (about EUR 369), and the top-of-the-line GT (regardless of the engine) will have a price from UAH 300 (about EUR 30235).
The third-generation compact crossover will be manufactured at the Stellantis plant in Sochaux (France), and deliveries to Ukraine have already begun.
