In Michigan (USA), not far from Nissan's headquarters, photo spies spotted a prototype of another new product. Despite the brand's statements about abandoning the production of sedans, the model is made in this body.
Motor1 suggested that it could be the next-generation Nissan Altima or Sentra. They are more inclined to the second version, although they do not discount the first. The prototype is covered in camouflage, but some features have been made out. So, the new model has narrow headlights connected by a thin LED strip, a bumper with a large air intake, a compact radiator grille and a wide, athletic hood.
At the stern, you can see large lights and exhaust system pipes. So the new model will be fuel-powered, not electric. Door handles and rear-view mirrors are standard, but the wheels have an original design. Spies were unable to look into the interior of the new Nissan. Therefore, it is not yet possible to judge its equipment. There is no information about the engine range.
It's worth noting that the Altima midsize sedan was Nissan's best-selling vehicle last year, surpassing 100 units sold. Only the Rogue had the same figure. So the new sedan could well improve the company's current financial situation.
