Nissan's press service has shared photos of the N7 model, a new business sedan. The "stuffing" for it was provided by the Chinese company Dongfeng.
Among the unusual "chips" of the car are innovative seats with "zero gravity" and the ability to intelligently change shape thanks to the upper gel layer. Another innovation is optics with the ability to change the light signature. In Nissan's interpretation, there are many possibilities: you can write words on the lights, and change the daytime running lights beyond recognition. A powerful infotainment complex with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor and 256 gigabytes of hard drive is also promised.
So far, the Nissan N7 is certified only as a rear-wheel drive electric car. Versions with a capacity of 218 or 272 hp have been announced. with batteries with a capacity of 58 and 73 kWh, respectively. The range is up to 635 kilometers according to the Chinese CLTC cycle.
The development of the Japanese brand in China currently depends on a local partner, as the company does not have its own resources to create electric cars. To some extent, Nissan is following Mazda's path, only its competitors use Changan as a source of technology.
