Fruits and berries are always good for you, but not all of them are low in calories. Experts have named seven fruits with the lowest possible carbohydrate content, which are ideal for those following a strict diet.
The first such fruit, or rather berry, experts call strawberries. A whole plate of strawberries, experts note, contains only 11 grams of carbohydrates. Raspberries are also distinguished by similar characteristics, 100 grams of which contain less than 5 grams of carbohydrates. Moreover, currants and blackberries are distinguished by an equally low calorie value. But one of the most unexpected fruits on this list was avocado, which is often called quite filling. As it turned out, avocado is ideal for even the strictest low-carb diets, since 100 grams of this product contains a record low amount of carbohydrates - only 3,5 grams.
The next mandatory component of almost any diet is called apricot, which will please with only 4 grams of carbohydrates and 17 calories per 100 grams of product. The optimal way to use it is to add it to muesli or as a snack. Without fear of excess nutrients, anyone who follows a diet can also eat watermelons. This juicy, sweet and watery summer berry also contains extremely few carbohydrates - at 11 grams in a whole plate.
The penultimate place on the list, but not in terms of importance, went to kiwi with exactly the same indicators of carbohydrate content as strawberries or watermelon. At the same time, the authors of the rating add that by eating kiwi, a person can easily satisfy the daily need of the body for vitamin C. Finally, an orange squeezed in the morning as juice carries a lot of benefits. And even during a diet, which involves reducing carbohydrates in the diet to minimal values, this fruit will not spoil the overall effect, since in 100 grams of it, experts have counted only 8,3 grams of carbohydrates.
