Why egg and banana
No one needs to be convinced that eggs and bananas are foods that should be included in the diet because they contain a solid dose of valuable nutrients. But this duo is also used in the garden: they just need to become the basis of nutritious fertilizer. Why is it advisable to use them?
Eggs are a source of valuable minerals, but the most in the egg is calcium. A banana, on the other hand, provides a significant portion of potassium.
Calcium is necessary for proper plant growth, as it strengthens cell walls and makes them more resistant to adverse environmental conditions. Potassium ensures proper and lush growth of plants collected in the garden, which is especially important in spring.
Burying the egg and banana in the beds will allow the roots of the plants to absorb both elements and, thus, grow and bear fruit properly.
How to bury an egg and a banana
It's best to start burying eggs and bananas in your beds before you plant them. Because you can damage the tender roots of the plant that develop later. Of course, egg and banana burying should be done under one easy-to-use condition. Both products should not be smaller than 25 cm.
If they are placed smaller, they can "call" uninvited guests to flower beds or flower beds, and also create a very unpleasant smell of decaying eggs and bananas.
For which plants should you use buried eggs and bananas
In fact, the specifics with buried bananas and eggs can be used for almost all plants in the garden.
However, special attention should be paid when growing tomatoes. Why? Because calcium prevents the development of leaf rot, which affects all nightshade vegetables.
Unfortunately, eggs and bananas should not be used on species that require acidic soil, as the presence of these products in the soil makes them more alkaline.

If we did not have time to bury eggs and bananas in the beds before placing plants in them, then there is no need to fold our hands, because these products can easily be prepared as a safe and nutritious liquid fertilizer.
It is enough to put the shells of a dozen eggs and the peel of several bananas in a large plastic bucket, then pour water (preferably rainwater) and leave for at least a day. After that, we will get a fertilizer with which you can easily water the vegetables in the garden!
Such a safe preparation based on water, eggs and bananas can be used throughout the growing season, at least once a month.
