The basis of growing seedless grapes is parthenocarpy, a natural process where fruit is formed without pollination. Some varieties are genetically predisposed to this phenomenon, such as "Kishmish", but even classic grape varieties can be made to bear fruit without seeds - and here's how.
The key role is played by treatment with gibberellic acid - a natural phytohormone that stimulates the growth of berries, bypassing the stage of seed formation. To do this, you need to prepare a solution: 50 mg of the substance is dissolved in a liter of water. The first treatment is carried out when the berries reach the size of a pea, and after 10 days the procedure is repeated. The optimal method of application is to immerse each cluster in the solution for 5 seconds.

But the use of the hormone itself will not give 100% results without proper nutrition of the vine. To support the grapes during the period of ovary formation, a month before flowering, it should be fed with superphosphate (40 g) and potassium sulfate (30 g). These elements strengthen the plant, helping it to tolerate stimulation more easily. It is necessary to water the grapes only with warm water at a temperature of +22-25 degrees.
The first changes will become noticeable three weeks after the second treatment. The berries will start to grow faster, and their flesh will become denser and sweeter. You will not be able to completely get rid of the seeds, but they will remain in the form of barely noticeable soft spots. To improve the quality of the harvest, you should normalize the load on the vine: only one bunch should be left on each shoot.

Another important detail is proper soil care. Mulching with a 10 cm layer of straw will help retain moisture and protect the roots from overheating. This will ensure that the grapes develop evenly and the fruits will be juicy.
It is better to harvest in dry weather - this way the berries will retain their freshness longer and will not crack. By following these tips, you will get seedless grapes that will not only be tasty, but also suitable for long-term storage. We wish you success!
