A large-scale fire broke out in the village of Zalazzya, in the Kamen-Kashyr region.
This was reported on the website of the State Emergency Service.
The fire was spotted by a UAV. 2 fire and rescue vehicles, 4 motor pumps, and 24 personnel were involved in extinguishing the fire.
Due to the fact that a huge peat bog has caught fire, it is currently unknown when the fire will be completely extinguished, as such fields can smolder for weeks, threatening to spread to even larger areas.
Rescuers once again urge people to be responsible and follow fire safety rules.
