Lexus has introduced a unique version of the LX700h Hideki Matsuyama Edition for golf enthusiasts with a nice bonus. The car is created in honor of professional golfer Hideki Matsuyama.

The flagship hybrid SUV Lexus LX700h Hideki Matsuyama Edition will be released in a limited edition of only 10 copies in honor of the Japanese golfer's 10 victories in the prestigious US PGA Tour golf championship.

The Lexus LX700h Hideki Matsuyama Edition is designed for golf enthusiasts. The car has a unique package and is painted in a special shade of Manganese Luster, chosen by Matsuyama himself. The package includes 22-inch black forged alloy wheels measuring 265/50. Inside, white semi-aniline leather upholstery is combined with yellow decorative stitching and ebony Ash wood inserts. There is a special plate with Matsuyama's signature on the center console.

The rich equipment also includes a Mark Levinson audio system, an entertainment system for rear passengers with screens in the seatbacks, as well as a replica of the golf bag used by Matsuyama during his 10th victory in the American tournament.

The LX700h features a hybrid powertrain that combines a 6-liter twin-turbocharged V3,5 gasoline engine with an auxiliary electric motor/generator. The combined output of this tandem is 341 kW/463 hp and 790 Nm of torque. All this power is sent to all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The Lexus LX700h Hideki Matsuyama Edition is estimated at 17 million yen ($114900). However, to purchase this rarity, you need not only money, but also a fair share of luck, as future owners will be determined by the results of a lottery, the acceptance of applications for which ends on March 20.

Hideki Matsuyama is a professional golfer sponsored by the Lexus brand since 2014. Among his achievements is a bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. This year, the athlete broke the record among Asian players on the US PGA Tour, winning 11 tournaments.
