Sales of the most economical electric car on the market, the Citroen Ami 2025, have officially started in Ukraine. The miniature city electric car costs from 352 hryvnias (about $800), making it the cheapest new car in the country. This was reported on the official website of Citroen in Ukraine, writes Autopilot.
The Citroen Ami is just 2,41 metres long and weighs 485 kg, making it ideal for tight city streets. Its compact dimensions make it easy to manoeuvre and park even in the busiest areas.
On the Ukrainian market, the car is available in two versions – a two-seater passenger Citroen Ami and a single-seater commercial. Despite its small size, the electric car has everything you need for a comfortable ride: LED headlights, a heating and ventilation system, and a panoramic roof.
For buyers who want to add style to their car, the Citroen Ami Peps version is available for UAH 385. It features unique decor, special floor mats, and additional pockets for storing small items in the cabin.
The electric vehicle is equipped with an 8 hp (6 kW) electric motor, which allows for speeds of up to 45 km/h. Thanks to its small turning circle (7,2 m), the Ami provides easy maneuverability even in the narrowest alleys.
The electric car has a range of 75 km, which is quite enough for daily city trips. The 5,4 kWh battery is fully charged in 4 hours from a regular outlet, making operation as convenient as possible.
Citroen Ami is not only the most affordable electric car in Ukraine, but also a true example of a new generation of urban transport. Its compactness, economy and environmental friendliness make it an excellent choice for those looking for a convenient and affordable solution for city trips.
