The dollar exchange rate in exchange offices in Ukraine has started to decline. The single European currency has also become cheaper.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing market monitoring data.
As of the morning of February 27, the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine fell by 5 kopecks to 41,85 hryvnias, the euro rate fell by 10 kopecks to -44,00 hryvnias.
At exchange offices, the dollar is bought for an average of 41,35 hryvnias, and the euro for 43,30 hryvnias.
On the interbank market, the exchange rate today is at 41,60-41,63 UAH/dollar (buying-selling) - unchanged compared to the previous day's close.
Official course
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) lowered the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia. The dollar fell after two days of growth.
The official exchange rate for February 27, 2025 is set at the following level: 41,639 hryvnias per 1 dollar (-0,0968 UAH).
The official euro exchange rate will be 43,6252 hryvnias per 1 euro (-0,1640 UAH).
Exchange rate forecast
As Taras Lesovy, Head of the Treasury Department at Globus Bank, noted in a comment to RBC-Ukraine, in March the official exchange rate will fluctuate in the range of 41,8-42,4 UAH/dollar.
This means that at the end of the first quarter, the dollar exchange rate may increase by a maximum of 1%, which is quite acceptable and more or less expected, the banker added.
