And the worst thing is that this dust doesn’t just lie there. It gradually disperses through the air, settles on all surfaces, and also gets into your lungs. But there is an ingenious way that will forever save you from having to climb under the ceiling with a rag.
The solution is simpler than it seems
In the last century, the role of protection was played by paper, or rather paper wallpaper left over from repairs, and, more often, old newspapers. Now you can hardly find such printed products in the right quantity. And why, when better materials have appeared: construction and food film. If you can hear an argument against construction film, saying that it may contain dangerous ingredients, then, of course, food film is an ideal option, because it is definitely safe, transparent, fits tightly and does not shift.
So, clean the surface of the upper cabinets from dust one last time and cover it with the selected material, spreading it tightly. In the future, instead of cleaning, just change the coating every few months. And that's it! You no longer need to reach under the ceiling, wiping off the stuck-on dirt, because now it will collect not on the furniture, but on the removable coating, which you do not need to wipe, but simply remove, throw away and easily replace with another.
And you no longer need to buy and use cleaning products, because dirt simply does not come into contact with the cabinets. There is also an added bonus. If you use foil, it will protect the kitchen furniture from grease and steam. This is especially useful if you have cabinets near the stove.
