Sometimes it happens that you put on perfectly white sneakers and it starts raining outside. After such dirt, it's a direct road to the washing machine. But not with these life hacks.
Details
5 coolest ways to clean sneakers:
Vinegar, laundry detergent, and citric acid (or peroxide)
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp. citric acid
- some washing powder
You should end up with a thick paste that you need to apply to your sneakers and leave for 10 minutes, then rinse with water.
Toothpaste
This method is known to everyone. Washes white soles especially well.
But an important point – use plain, uncolored, unbleached toothpaste, unless, of course, you want to ruin your sneakers.
Using a toothbrush, apply the paste to the contaminated areas, remove the residue with a napkin.
Soda
Baking soda must be mixed with water to form a slurry.
Apply the mixture to the sneakers, leave for 15 minutes, and then rinse.
Acetone and vinegar
This method is suitable for the sole.
Mix acetone and vinegar in equal proportions and wipe the sole, then rinse with water.
Micellar water
Moisten a cotton pad with micellar water and clean contaminated areas.
