The General Staff confirmed the defeat of the Primorsky-Akhtarsk airfield in the Russian Federation. From this airfield, enemy drones are launched almost daily, terrorizing Ukrainian cities for hours.

In the Krasnodar Territory, on the night of February 6, the Primorsky-Akhtarsky military airfield was hit. This was reported by Express newspaper with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Drones attacked an airfield in Russia
According to the agency, there were explosions and a fire at the facility. The strikes were carried out by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces in cooperation with other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
The General Staff noted that this Russian airport "Primorsko-Akhtarsky" is an object of operational basing of aviation assets. "It is used for storage, preparation and launches of "Shahed" type UAVs on the territory of Ukraine, as well as maintenance of aircraft that perform tasks in the areas of Zaporizhia and Kherson regions," the General Staff said.
“In the area of the Primorsko-Akhtarsk airfield, where the flight arrived, there is one of the warehouses with “Shaheds,” Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council, wrote in Telegram.
Videos posted by eyewitnesses show heavy fire and smoke at the airfield."
"Strikes against facilities involved in supporting the Russian Federation's armed aggression against Ukraine and terrorizing the civilian population will continue. More to come," the General Staff added.
Russian authorities traditionally report on the shooting down of drones
Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the alleged destruction of 28 Ukrainian drones that night.
It is noted that the UAVs were liquidated in three regions and over the Sea of Azov. The following were allegedly shot down:
13 dorns – over the waters of the Sea of Azov;
eight – in the Rostov region;
six – in the Krasnodar Territory;
one in the Astrakhan region.
