Let's admit that we all sometimes confuse the compartments in the washing machine for powder, gel and conditioner. However, many housewives do not even think about the consequences. In fact, incorrectly poured powder or poured conditioner reduces the efficiency of washing and harms the equipment. We suggest closing this issue once and for all.
Remember: every washing machine has a detergent dispenser, and each compartment has its own purpose. The three compartments are individually labeled. The first compartment, marked with the Roman numeral “I” or the symbol “A,” is for pre-washing. It is used if the clothes are very dirty and need soaking. If you choose a normal wash mode, this compartment can be left empty.

The second compartment, marked with the Roman numeral “II” or the symbol “B”, is the main one. This is where you need to pour the powder or pour the gel if you are using a standard washing cycle. It is important to use the exact amount of detergent, as its excess is poorly washed off from clothes, leaving white spots and streaks, especially on dark clothes.
The third compartment is a place for fabric conditioner or fabric softener. Manufacturers usually mark it with a flower or an asterisk. The conditioner softens the fabric and leaves a pleasant aroma on the clothes. The main thing is not to fill the product above the indicated mark, because too much liquid can simply be washed into the drum before the wash cycle is complete.
If you prefer liquid detergents, pay attention to a separate compartment that stands out from the rest. If you can’t find one, you can simply pour it into the main wash compartment. Or use special washing capsules that you need to put directly in the drum. They are not cheap, but they have proven themselves quite well.
