Woman buys lost suitcase at auction and reveals what she found there

Often, an entire suitcase or bag is put up for sale without being opened. This way, neither the airport nor the auctioneers know what is being sold. This classic “pig in a poke” can be a good buy if the suitcase contains something truly valuable. Or, conversely, it can only bring losses if the amount paid is more than the value of the contents of the suitcase.

Express tells the story of a woman named Becky, who decided to try her luck at such an auction and spent 130 pounds sterling (6800 UAH) on the purchase of luggage, the owner of which was never found.

A large rose gold suitcase was lost at London Heathrow Airport. Becky found a pair of black shiny Ugg boots, Juicy Couture flip-flops and a bunch of clothes inside. There were also several packages from the online store Shein, a pair of hair straighteners and a white iPad.

Becky called her purchase “absolute madness.” According to the woman, she has already bought lost luggage three times, and considers it a financially risky but fun thing.
