President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced the conditions under which a visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens to freely visit the United Kingdom is possible. As the correspondent reports, Zelenskyy said this at a briefing after a meeting with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy in Kyiv.
In particular, Zelenskyy answered questions about the prospects for introducing a visa-free regime with Britain for Ukrainian citizens.
“These issues are important to us in any case, but they definitely predict the end of the war,” said Zelknsky.
The President added that today the teams of Ukraine and Britain are communicating about this - discussing technical steps. Zelensky emphasized:
“But visa facilitation and steps towards visa-free travel is a very complex migration issue, especially for the United Kingdom, and it is a very complex issue indeed. It is important that the teams are working. It is important that we are talking about it. But of course this can only be worked out after the war is over.”
He said that this includes many programs for youth and students.
“This is such a complex issue,” Zelensky added.
